Requirements to Apply for a Marriage License

1. Complete the Marriage License Application.

 

2. Include the following documents:

  • Copy of both applicants’ 1) Driver’s License or 2) government issued ID (ex. passport or military ID)
  • Copy of both applicants’ Social Security Cards.

 

3. After the Court receives the above documents and they are approved for processing, the Court will email you a link to submit your payment.


4. Twenty-four hours after receipt of payment, the Court will issue your Marriage License and mail it to you at the address you provided. You will need to have a ceremony as required by law. Detailed instructions will be in the mailing sent to you. Be sure to read the instructions carefully.

 

5. If your documents are not approved, you will receive an email from the Probate Court with more information.
